Note:

My time in the library reading room

In the busyness of city life, the library reading room has become a haven for me. A space where I can focus, think and create. While cafes, shared office spaces and even my own room can be used as places to work or study, I have always preferred to spend a great deal of time in libraries.

Why here?

I love the atmosphere of the library reading room - a unique sense of stillness. Everyone is immersed in their own world. There's none of the cacophony of a café or all the distractions of home. I find that the design of the library space, the lighting, and the neatly arranged books bring a sense of ritual that makes it easier for me to enter a state of concentration.

How do you interact with others here?

In this space, some people are working furiously to organize their papers, some are reading intently, and some are discussing with their peers in a low voice using hand gestures - these scenes make me feel a collective atmosphere of intellectual curiosity.

After using the same space for a long period of time, a tacit understanding develops between people. We may not talk to each other, but we are familiar with each other's presence.

It may be possible to see each other multiple times in the same seat. This is a very special relationship that does not interfere with each other, but encourages each other in some way.
